What's your business, and who are your customers?
I help entrepreneurs grow their businesses and double their income by writing books that share their expertise.
Tell us about yourself
I was pulled into professional writing when I won first place in the Canada-wide novice writers competition. Starting with articles, then contributing to anthologies, and finally writing whole books taught me many things. After being published traditionally, I learned how to self-publish. When my author friends saw what I was doing, they asked for help, and then my work expanded to writers I didn’t know.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I love celebrating when a client holds their book in their hands for the first time.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Sometimes it’s lonely, and there are tough decisions to make.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Find a coach.
- Set goals and review them regularly.
- Celebrate often!
