What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am the founder and owner of Kid Can Talk English and Digital Nomadic Bucks. Nowadays, I primarily serve online English teachers (marketing/sales-related coach) while also running my barter and cash exchange.
Tell us about yourself
I have always been entrepreneurial and love the purpose.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
- Going number 1 in 9 of Google's most popular organic listings back in 2003.
- Building my 16K+ group of online teachers on Facebook.
- Monetizing through that group.
- Getting my more complex online marketplace site set up and running well.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Continuing when the going may not be so good.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have an innovative idea for a hungry market within a particular industry.
- Don't just talk about what you want to do, but do what needs to be done regularly.
