What's your business, and who are your customers?

Renowned Leadership teaches, coaches, and mentors leaders, young and old, to become a leader that people will remember forever for the right reasons. We thrive in helping companies leave the old school "management training program" and build a leadership development program that will build organic leaders that they can pick from to take their companies to the next level.

Tell us about yourself

I got the vast amount of my leadership training in the Army, where I served for 16 years. I had many accomplishments, but my most proud was graduating from Ranger school. After the Army, I joined the corporate world and was completely dissatisfied with how the companies I saw were approaching leadership development. This was my most prominent reason for starting Renowned.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I'm not sure if this is an accomplishment, but my favorite thing in the world is when I get a testimonial from a client or a refuel. The reason this is so huge to me is that it shows me that I am providing a needed service and my product has value to my clients, and it shows me that I am actually helping people change their life for the better. There is no greater t purpose in life than the service you can provide to others.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

That's easy, imposter syndrome. It's so easy to fall into the thought and beliefs that you are not good enough or the best option or expert enough to do what you are trying to do.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Consistent action. Always take a step forward in growing your brand, even if it's a small step.
  2. Prolific accountability. When it's your business, and you are the boss, it's easy to start passing blame. I had to learn that the blame starts and stops with me. Relentless momentum. Life has done nothing but hit me hard the further and more successful I go and become. No matter the challenges, you must always strive to keep your momentum, and if you lose it... Get it back at all costs.
