Achieve Optimal Health - Rena's Organic

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Rena Greenberg, CEO of Rena's Organic, located in Sarasota, FL, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

At the age of 26, I was facing death. A permanent pacemaker was implanted into my heart. My mission since has focused on educating thousands of people to end the vicious cycle of cravings, which ultimately lead to addictions and health challenges.

After I found health, I wanted to share what I had learned with others. I created Easy Willpower—a successful health and wellness program that has been reviewed and sponsored in over 75 hospitals and 100+ major corporations such as Walt Disney and Home Depot. The success of my method has been featured in 150+ TV and News stories, including Good Morning America, CNN, FOX-TV, NBC-TV, Nightline, USA Today, Woman's World, The Doctors Show, and my own show on PBS.

Four years ago, I discovered high-quality CBD for my Glaucoma. It was miraculous for me. In addition to lowering my eye pressure, medical-grade CBD helped me with my sleep, hormones, and blood sugar. I wanted to share the information with my following. However, when I saw all the marketing deception that was going on (and still is), I felt that my only course of action was to educate people and create the highest level CBD products with my own brand so that people in pain and suffering would not be fooled into buying inferior products.

I'm proud to know that Rena's Organic products are of the highest quality, including carrying a USDA organic certification and manufactured in my GMP-certified facility. With so many people struggling with pain, sleep issues, anxiety, and weight issues, my products are specifically formulated to address these critical health issues because of their inflammation-fighting and blood sugar-balancing properties.

Tell us about yourself

I am passionate about helping people find health. The first step is creating freedom—freedom from all addiction, whether that be to sugar, carbs, vaping, nicotine, recreational drugs, or pharmaceuticals. Health is all about balance. We need to find balance mentally, physically, and emotionally in order to attain the highest level of health, happiness, and fulfillment.

I feel so grateful that I have had the opportunity to help hundreds of thousands of people. First, with my hypnosis, weight loss, smoking cessation, stress relief, healing, and wellness programs, and now with medical-grade CBD and herbal products.

When you've been sick, as I have and so many others have, too, and so close to death's door, you realize that health is your greatest asset. But I don't think you can have true health without happiness. My goal is to give people tools for both. The mind is connected to the body. Pharmaceutical Grade CBD helps to balance both the mind and the body.

I am so motivated to continue to share information and tools that work with anybody who is now suffering. People need to know that they are not alone and there are resources to help them. My greatest motivator is my customers. Yesterday, Alisha came by to pick up three more bottles of CBD Super Cider. She told me that she had been consumed with anxiety and depression her whole life. This is the only product, she says, that completely changes how she feels. She had tried all kinds of pharmaceuticals and recreational drugs before making this discovery. One capful in the morning is all she needs. I can't tell you how happy that makes me feel.

Dozens of people have personally reached out to me (including my 95-year-old mother) to tell me that the Rena's Organic 1000 mg CBD Pain Relief Cream is the only product that can touch their pain and give them relief. Incredible! Knowing that fills me with joy and fulfillment. I hear these types of stories about all my products, and I am so grateful to be able to share something that can truly make such a significant difference in people's lives.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Helping thousands of people has been my biggest accomplishment. Knowing that I've helped dozens of people to lose over 100 pounds and keep it off is tremendously gratifying. The largest weight loss that I know of with one of my clients is a man who lost 180 pounds! This gentleman prefers to be anonymous, yet I am so thrilled to know that he credits his entire weight loss to my hypnosis weight loss program.

On the outer level, it was quite an accomplishment to be invited to do my own show on PBS and to be a guest on both Good Morning America and The Doctors Show with clients who lost over 100 pounds. Also, having my first book published by Hay House felt like an incredible milestone for me—has always been a huge fan of the self-help pioneer Louise Hay. Fast forward to creating Rena's Organic, a product line that has helped thousands of people to get out of pain and start living a healthy life, has really felt like a huge accomplishment.

Accomplishments with Rena's Organic include a full-page story in First for Women Magazine about the incredible benefits of Rena's Organic CBD brand, as well as a syndicated TV news story that aired on over 150 TV news stations, including FOX and NBC, praising the efficacy of Rena's Organic 1000 mg CBD Pain Relief Cream for bringing relief to even the most stubborn pain.

I am also proud to carry the USDA Organic, BCIA certified, and Woman-Owned Certifications. I also very much appreciate the ability to give back. A percentage from every sale is donated to A+ Charity, All Hands All Hearts, helping communities struck by natural disasters.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Overcoming all the setbacks. You have to be in it for the long haul. There are always going to be challenging. When I was giving seminars, there were many things out of my control. I may have arrived at a hospital to give a seminar, had 200 people waiting for me to begin, and discovered that the Auditorium had been over-booked, and there was someone else in there (for example). Twice I had a fire alarm go off in the middle of my group hypnosis! Bringing my CBD brand to fruition brought me tremendous challenges. My first plan was to create an educational video about the body's endocannabinoid system.

I filmed 8 hours of footage eight different times within a month, each time needing to correct a filming error. That took so much tenacity! Then when the footage was finally perfect, I found a "reputable" videographer who actually was not trustworthy. I paid him thousands of dollars, and after stringing me along for two years, it became evident that he wasn't going to provide the service. That was only one of many losses I had to incur. Selling CBD, even though I have done everything exactly according to the rules presented by the FDA and the industry leaders, my banking was shut down in the middle of the business day multiple times due to the lack of Federal acceptance of CBD.

I ended up having to rent a desk in Hamburg, Germany, and move my corporate office there so I could use European banking. Not only was this outrageously expensive, but the bank there defaulted, leaving me with a loss of thousands of dollars, again! When you own your own business, not only do you have to be resilient, but you have to believe in what you do with every cell of your body and be willing to weather every storm. I believe in the end, integrity always wins. But you have to be strong.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Create a plan and stay focused. There is so much to do to keep all the balls in the air. The only way it's possible to succeed is to have a succinct plan that keeps you on track with your goals and not chasing shiny objects or getting lost in rabbit holes.
  2. Be in it for the long haul and focus on the big picture. You must plant many seeds, knowing that only some or a few will sprout. Know how to get off the dead horse and move on when what you are doing isn't working. Imagine yourself succeeding every day and remember the 'why' in why you are doing this.
  3. Be patient and willing to work hard. Relationships take time to develop. Work to your full capacity, yet make sure your life is balanced. Eat well. Exercise. Nurture your most important friendships and family. Your work is your doorway to fulfillment when you are committed to helping others and spreading healing and transformation in one way or another.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I'm grateful for this opportunity to be here with you today and share. Thank you for the wonderful work you are doing in the world.
