What's your business, and who are your customers?

REJUCREAM is a premium intimate skincare brand that focuses on efficacy and education through content across our website, social channels, and partnering with Health Care Professionals. We aim to be an adjunct to Doctor prescribed hormonal treatments or vaginal rejuvenation. By focusing on OB/GYN and Dermatologist trusted ingredients with p-H balanced formulations, we want to bring the best of skincare science to a woman's most intimate area. We are more than a basic hygiene product. Our core differentiator is to bring a premium and luxurious sensorial experience, with benefits, to intimate self-care. 5+ years of scientific research and over 20 years of conversations with women have inspired the development of unique formulas comprised of the most advanced skincare ingredients that bring nourishing, softening, rejuvenating, and protecting benefits to the vulva. Created with a team of women who are experts in their respective fields, the REJUCREAM line is the first intimate skincare system for women of any age that will enable them to reconnect with themselves, physically and emotionally, by taking care of their most sacred area.

Tell us about yourself

I have been surrounded by strong women since birth. My grandmother managed a beauty store, and I spent every Monday with her. Women have played a major role in my professional life as well, as I have been a lead colorist in hair salons across the US & Europe. Through conversations with clients and friends, I began to understand that women suffered when they were physically disconnected from their most intimate area. I also recognized that there was a gap in both the dialogue and the marketplace when it came to elevating a daily ritual of intimate care. And in 2009, the idea of Rejucream was born. Being able to make a difference in women's lives each and every day invigorates me to push myself further.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment was being able to take the idea for REJUCREAM and create this amazing company. However, that could not have been possible without the amazing team that I surround myself with every day. The team that we have created and that I am a part of is something I am truly proud of.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

There are two things that stand out for me:

  1. Not to take everything personally. We are producing products that are meant to help women, and very rarely do we have a client who it just might not be right for! Hearing that at first would be difficult because I would ask myself if REJUCREAM is good enough to succeed. But these moments are always taken into consideration and challenge us to always improve, and at the end of the day, I have to remind myself just how many women we have helped by bringing them an intimate care solution.
  2. The decisions I am forced to make as a business owner to help grow the company not only impact me now! I have a team, and they must be part of the decision tree.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You must always believe in yourself and be your own biggest advocate.
  2. Surround yourself with a team who will be critical and honest with you but also support you.
  3. Do not give up easily! You will face many hurdles, so this is where that support network becomes super important.
