What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is providing energy healing in the arts of Reiki, Sekhem, Crystal Healing, and Life Coaching to all individuals needing some extra guidance in their lives. Working on the concept of body, mind, and spirit, I look at your energetic balance and help you correct anything that is needed. I cater to everyone willing to work on themselves so that they may lead the best of their lives.
Tell us about yourself
I was brought up with very open-minded parents and a father who is a Chi Gong Master. I started training in the arts of Reiki and Sekhem when I was thirteen. In my late twenties, I added the arts of Crystal Healing and Life Coaching to my practice. Currently, I am studying Mythology and Depth Psychology for my M.A./Ph.D degree.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Watching amazing individuals take control of their lives, living free and prosperously the way they want it to be.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Viewing something as hard is the problem of looking at things half empty. If my schedule is empty for a day with no clients, that is my chance to create my own work or to clean my house!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The first two years are the hardest for anyone as they will test your endurance and your faith in yourself. The question is, do you have what it takes to push through even when every single doubt and fear you have about the business (and you) are tested?
Money is not guaranteed during these years, which also tests your ability to plan and be resilient. So, patience, planning, and communication about your needs are the top three things I recommend.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
There are tons of resources out there for startups, should you choose to look for them. My Reiki community was my biggest supporter, but so was the city of LA. You can also look up tons of tips and tricks on YouTube for small business hacks. The idea, in the end, is how to work the most efficiently and cost-effectively. Be smart about how you are using your time.
