What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a psychotherapist and health coach passionate about helping overwhelmed and exhausted professional women over 35+ prioritize themselves again by challenging their psychology (how she thinks), nutrition (how she fuels), and fitness (how she moves).

Tell us about yourself

As a psychotherapist, I could see how a lack of self-care through movement and nutrient-dense foods was actually hurting my clients emotionally. Once I was better able to teach them that nutrition and fitness were missing in their lives, they could make lasting transformations beyond just their clothing size.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I love it when a woman is able to see that although it was a journey for her to come to this place where she realizes that she needs to make healthy changes now or else...now she feels capable and ready to actually make those changes into a new lifestyle.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things as a business owner is being able to channel your passion into a directed vision. We cannot all work with just anyone, as we are truly called to work with particular clients who are ready for change.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Get up, dress up and show up. You have to get up and make active moves in your day toward your dreams. You have to dress the part, even if you are working from home where "no one will see" you. Then you have to show up and put yourself out there and network.
