What's your business, and who are your customers?

Men and women who are feeling confused, frustrated, angry, sad, lonely, and betrayed in their marriage or partnership.

Tell us about yourself

In my work as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I started to notice many people suffering from negative mental and physical effects while in a dysfunctional marriage or partnership. Narcissism is a term widely used with the common thinking that there is no possibility of repairing the relationship. In my research, training, and education, I discovered that although there are spouses and partners who do have true narcissism, there may be other causes that could be a place to educate and intervene. Working alongside the individuals, helping them learn about healthy boundaries, trusting their intuition, being able to identify the hallmarks of a healthy relationship or marriage, and how to move forward with clarity and conviction has been very satisfying.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Completing all the training and education necessary to provide services with the highest quality possible and creating an efficient and easily understandable process for potential clients to discover my business, find out more information, and get signed up with little delay.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Learning about advertising, website development, and social media and finding an accountant who advises me throughout the year so I avoid surprises when taxes are due.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

1. Do research on the market in terms of what you want to sell or the service offered so you aren't wasting your time trying to sell something that isn't needed.
2. Do research on the most efficient and cost-effective ways to advertise your business.
3. Know your tax laws or work with an accountant who can guide you.
