What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our business Pure Movement, helps active New Mexicans overcome injuries and eliminate pain through the artful skill of physical therapy so they can thrive and live life on their own terms without the use of medications, injections, or surgeries.
Tell us about yourself
My motivation to start my business was the limitations of most physical therapy clinics in the context of only working with insurance and not getting patients back to their true goals. Each day I am motivated that the work we do helps improve the quality of life of our patients and keep them active in the community with treatments and tools that actually work.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Our biggest accomplishment as business owners is starting a business in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, moving to a city where we didn't know anyone, and successfully growing our practice over the past couple of years.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Balancing working in the business vs. working on the business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Dream big! Take risks! Set actionable short-term goals to give yourself feedback that you are making progress.
