What's your business, and who are your customers?

Pursimple is a restaurant that serves breakfast's most important meal of the day. We serve up a great meal and do it affordably. Our customers can be kids to seniors who enjoy a good morning meal in a nice open environment, parents, and kids for a late Saturday morning brunch. Families' go-to place for holidays, weekends, or any special date during the year. We open 7 am-3 pm every day except Christmas you can never miss an important day.

Tell us about yourself

The first time I went to a Pursimple location was in Moncton. The place was beautiful, and the environment was very comfortable. That's the kind of restaurant I would love to open and operate. Nothing is more enjoyable than seeing our happy customers; all the staff works together as a team. It motivates me each and continues improving our service quality.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

As we opened during the pandemic, June 2020, the biggest accomplishment is my biggest challenge. We survived 2 COVID years and are still operating under great conditions.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing during busy months, which is May-Sep, is that hard to find staff, especially during COVID. According to the news, almost every restaurant has had the same issue lately.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Always have passion for what you are doing or what you want to start doing.
  2. Pick the right location for the right businesses.
  3. Be involved as much as possible with your employees and customers.
