What's your business, and who are your customers?

We guide real estate professionals to predictable, sustainable profitability, which allows them to live the life they envision for themselves.

Tell us about yourself

As a child, Jennifer spent lots of time at open houses with her dad. He had flipped homes her whole life. She loves real estate and is passionate about helping others. While working for her dad in her 20s, Jennifer learned bookkeeping to help the family business. This inspired her to create her own bookkeeping firm and become a real estate investor herself in 2015. Since then, she has become a cash coach and has worked hard to ensure she has the right tools to help her clients. Jennifer is a licensed Profit First Professional and also sits on the Board of Directors for the Brant County SPCA.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Jennifer started Profitz Inc. and Coronation Bookkeeping & Tax Services Inc. in 2015 with the goal of making $2,000.00/month. The company's goal for 2023 is $250,000.00. We have grown beyond our wildest expectations and hope to continue to grow with our clients each year!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Having everything in your head and nothing on paper. We have realized how important it is to have systems in place. We guide our clients in their growing businesses to add systems and automation to help them in their daily lives.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Open up a separate savings account and regularly transfer 1% of your income into this account (we recommend the 10th and 25th of each month).
  2. Read Profit First (seriously, it changed Jennifer's life, as well as many of her client's)
  3. Start with the end in mind. Where do you see the business in the long run? Make your goals align with the growth of the business.
