What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is Premier Realty Services. We are a real estate media and sign company in Texas. We service realtors and builders with photography, videography, 3d tours, sign installation, sign storage, sign printing, and more.
Tell us about yourself
I started this business 14 years ago. My father, at the time, worked for a builder selling new homes, and they needed a new photographer. I learned how to take photos, and the rest is history. Over the years, I added services, locations, and staff to scale it to where it is today. Every day is a new adventure in real estate, and every house is so different.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment while being the owner is
- Staying in business this long. Running a business that is in multiple cities and service-driven takes a lot of time, patience, and amazing staff.
- Being able to employ over 30 people and knowing my company provides for them and their families. We are all very thankful for our customers, as we know we would not be here without their support.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the most difficult parts of being a business owner is that money is never guaranteed. You have to fight for your sales day in and day out. There is always another business opening up similar to ours, which also means we have to always innovate and keep up with the times.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
