We are a single-family farm in Watkinsville, Georgia, that raises Registered All Natural Angus Beef Cattle.
Tell us about yourself
Our love for cattle started as a hobby we could enjoy as a family and has grown into a business where we now raise Registered Angus cattle. Spending time together and enjoying what we love most motivates us each day to improve our herd and genetics.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Growing our herd from 15 cattle to around 350 cattle.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Usually it's maintaining a work-life balance, but since we enjoy this hobby together so much - that's not an issue!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Come up with a business plan.
- Find someone who supports your plan and can help mentor you in the right direction.
- Maintain profit vs. loss
- Don't give up!
