What's your business, and who are your customers?
We provide a premium precision medicine exam for newborn eyes. We prevent disease and protect vision.
Tell us about yourself
I have built many computational AI products in medicine that help doctors understand their patients better and help them provide personalized care.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
We have changed the way people think about baby eye care and are making our product available across the globe.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I am continuously learning about what matters to patients, and - at the same time - I am changing the way doctors take care of their patients.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Listen to others and learn from them.
- Stick to your vision but improve it.
- Listen to your customers and your team to make sure you are helping others - not yourself.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I love my work because we are building a business with enough revenue to reach many patients, and we are tangibly improving the lives of many babies.
