Breakthrough the Barriers - Potentials Within

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal & business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Charlene Day, Founder of Potentials Within, located in Toronto, ON, Canada.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
Potentials Within believe that each of us has come here with a mission. I help my clients get in touch with their passion and find their vision so they can carry out their mission.

Tell us about yourself
I got started in this business because I did not want to be penned into a physical office. I wanted to be in control of my life and have time freedom, geographical freedom, and financial freedom. I wanted to help others see that potential too. So helping others is what motivates me, as I love to see growth in people and see them manifest their vision and mission. That way, I create a community of like-minded individuals, and together we can make a profound difference in the world.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is getting mentored by some of the greats in the personal development field. I have spent eight years with Bob Proctor's organization as one of his Thinking into Results facilitators. He also wrote the foreword for my latest book, "The 30 Laws of Flow - Timeless Principles for Entrepreneurial Success". Also have studied with Tony Robbins and taken all his programs. This accomplishment means that my clients get the benefits of all this knowledge.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that comes with being an entrepreneur is realizing that overcoming the little hurdles is the step-by-step approach to success. Seeing those hurdles as opportunities, I always say I have failed myself in order to succeed.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- The first tip is to investigate Darren Hardy's Insane Productivity. That offers great wisdom that will help you greatly.
- The second tip is to find a mentor. A mentor is someone who has already achieved what you desire.
- The third tip is to learn to say "NO." There are so many distractions out there, and you need to stay focused on your business and your desires.
