What's your business, and who are your customers?

Tell us about yourself
After traveling to Europe and hosting a few tea parties in my home, I realized that tea parties required a lot of space, time, effort, and money. My passion for hosting gatherings, baking, and collecting vintage china, cutlery & crystal spurred me to create Posh Teatime Co. I wanted to turn my hobby into a business, and I desired to make hosting High Tea parties hassle-free for my clients. Posh Teatime Co. brings all the vintage China, cutlery, crystal, linens & food to clients so they can host high tea without lifting a finger.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I would say my biggest accomplishment as a business owner would be the relationships that I have built with other local non-profit organizations and collaborations with small businesses. Being active in the community truly has helped me to become a more well-rounded entrepreneur. I have truly learned so much this past year.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The most difficult thing about owning a mobile business is literally having so many roles and managing the logistics of a mobile business. Finding balance and ensuring that I make time for my husband and kids is important for me because I wear so many hats, but again I have learned so much.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
My top 3 tips would be first to be passionate about the business you are starting.
Two would be to have a really solid business plan.
And finally, get professional help. No one knows everything, and utilizing local organizations and mentors that support small businesses can help you be successful.
