What's your business, and who are your customers?

Tell us about yourself
I've been in the social media space since its inception (late 2003) and decided to turn my expertise into a business in 2010. I launched a digital agency that helped business owners and entrepreneurs create and launch social media strategies for their brands. In 2016 I decided that I was unhappy with the work I was doing as I didn't feel fulfilled, and I knew there was more. In late 2016 I ran into an old contact of mine that asked me if I could help her start a podcast.
It was at that moment that I figured it out. Podcasting would be the niche and lane I would occupy. It allowed me to stay in the digital space while only focusing on one thing, podcasting. And so the Podcast Launch Lab was born.
We are now a full-service Podcast Agency specializing in helping people launch and grow their podcasts as well as handling all of the backend production that weighs so many podcasters and creators down. What motivates me to do what I do is seeing who people become when they step into the role of a Podcaster. It's exciting to see people discover their "WHY" for wanting to dive into the Podcasting pool.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Successfully building a multiple six-figure business with zero.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Motivating yourself and realizing that you are not only responsible for yourself but also your team members and clients.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Get clear on your WHY of starting in the first place.
