What's your business, and who are your customers?
Pizza City Records specializes in Organic Vegetarian Pizzas, Pop recipes, Vinyl Records and Art. Right now, I am offering Pre Order and Catering Services. Pizza City Records just launched but the customers that I am attracting are loyal High Vibrational up-and-coming youthful Artists, Families, Foodies, Record Collectors, Musicians, and more.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Cleo, and I am a multi-artist residing in Los Angeles, California, and soon to be Miami, Florida. I have been a working Photographer, Event Promoter, Film Maker, DJ, Talent Scout, and Model. I always loved to cook but never looked at it as a career for me to pursue. Being a Chef is very heart-centered for me; it's one of the main things that brings me joy. Considering I am very entrepreneurial, I decided to add all of my art forms and hobbies into one allowing food to take the lead. The thought of making healthy food, creating a space that will be a positive support system for artists and their mental health, meeting new people, having fun, and raising their vibration is what motivates me each and every day.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment has been finding an understanding of what makes me happy as a business owner and an artist. Creating my vision and bringing it to life has been a milestone for me, on top of managing all of the logistics on my own. Remaining balanced and centered is a daily process, but worth all the effort.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I have to say what's been the most challenging as a business owner is wearing all the hats. As challenging as it can be, I believe it's very important and helpful to understand what you want and what works for you. Knowing who you are and what you can help navigate what your needs are in what you'd like to attract in a team and in customers.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The Top 3 tips I would give to anyone looking to start their own business are:
- Be true to yourself and figure out what you love to do and what truly makes you happy.
- Stay positive, consistent, and focused on your craft as much as you can make time. Be patient and be your own biggest support system.
- Find and understand what distracts you and keep all distractions to a minimum.
