Picnic Party Cincinnati is a luxury picnic company servicing all Cincinnati tri-state areas. Picnic Party Cincinnati curates unique events for all occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, bridal showers, and many more. Picnic Party is for all ages - there is never an age limit when it comes to celebrating YOU!
Tell us about yourself
I always dreamed of being a small business owner and creating something that was all my own. When I stumbled upon luxury picnics on TikTok, I immediately knew I wanted to bring the idea to Cincinnati. I have a huge passion for event planning and creating meaningful events for all. Luxury picnics seemed to be the best fit for those passions. For me, the best parts of being a luxury picnic owner are the beginning and end of a picnic. Seeing the initial reactions of my clients when they first arrive at their picnics is an unmatched feeling. Instead of a red checkered blanket, they are met with a custom color theme, fine china, real silverware, and tasteful decorum. When I return to clean up the picnic, I love hearing about the great time my clients had. Usually, they mention how peaceful and fun the picnic was. Creating a moment of happiness for my clients is the best motivation.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner so far is my consistency and passion. I have successfully completed one year of picnics and am currently in year two. I constantly think of new ideas and themes to keep my product up to date. I am also the proud finalist of the 2022 Better Business Bureau Spark Awards.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing about being a business owner is time management. People always say there isn't enough time in the day, which is true for business owners. Between my full-time job, my family, and my small business, I find it is so important to be organized and to be mentally prepared for work and rest.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

- Be organized.
- Be kind to yourself and your clientele.
