What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a nail salon, and our customers are mostly women, men, and children.
Tell us about yourself
I came to Canada just seven years ago, and my first job was as a pedicurist. It took me almost 2.5 hours to finish just one regular pedicure. I realized that earning money in the beauty industry was quite not easy. My husband keeps telling me not to give up and keep working harder. One day I realized that the hard work I had put in finally paid off. I love my job as a nail technician, and I learn new things each day as I go to work.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The biggest accomplishment is that I have started my own business, thanks to my husband for helping me fulfill my dream.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Finding the right nail care technician is the hardest part of being a business owner for me.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
