What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a holistic healthcare facility that helps patients get out of pain without drugs or surgery. We use chiropractic adjustment and results-driven rehab technology to help our community heal naturally. Peak Chiropractic and Rehab is a family-driven practice, and we help everyone, including expectant mothers, newborn babies, seniors, students, veterans, athletes, business professionals, delivery drivers, and more.
Tell us about yourself
I went to Parker College of Chiropractic because I wanted to help people. Having grown up playing sports and having many injuries, I was interested in the field of natural medicine, and chiropractic was a great fit for me. After college, I knew I wanted to work for myself, and after several years of practicing, I met and fell in love with my wife and the city of Fort Worth. It became an easy choice to want to open a practice here. Our hours are long, but seeing the way patients' lives change through our care motivates me to get in early and stay late.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is being able to grow our business, hire more staff and introduce hundreds of people to chiropractic care so that they can have a better and more active life without drugs or surgery.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Making payroll.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
My three tips for anyone wanting to have their own business are:
- Have a plan.
- Get a coach or mentor from your field.
- Don't stop grinding.
