What's your business, and who are your customers?

Peachtree Yoga Center has been offering the most trusted Yoga Teacher Training in the Southeast for over 20 years. We facilitate the process of becoming yoga teachers through spiritual growth and transformation of Self. We grow a community of like-hearted individuals who are on the journey of discovering who they truly are and what their purpose is.

Tell us about yourself

For me personally, yoga is a calling; it is a lifestyle. Everything I have done in my life and continue to do has brought me to it and continues to inspire me to serve others. When my teacher Graham Fowler, the founder of the PYC, asked me to continue the work of his life, I immediately knew that it was the culmination of all my previous efforts and that it would allow me to become who I am supposed to become in this lifetime.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I was a year and a half into the ownership when COVID struck, and due to the loyalty of my customers, we were able to stay strong in the face of challenges.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing for me is when students want my personal attention, and I have to delegate it to others. There comes the point in the life of a business owner when a realization occurs that you cannot do everything by yourself and have to share your responsibilities.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

1. Follow your Heart. When you do, everything else will fall in place. When you don't, you will feel out of place yourself.
2. Act. Do little things every day. The mountain of work always looks insurmountable but taking small steps every day will let you come to the top.
3. Do not worry about making money. Think of the ways to serve others.
