What's your business, and who are your customers?
I’m a licensed, certified hypnotist that helps people make massive and lasting changes in their lives by utilizing the unlimited power of their subconscious minds. If you’ve ever struggled to overcome fear or anxiety, tried to end a bad habit or create a new habit, manifest a work transition, or deepen your inner life, I’m the person that will help you align with your wise inner self and take aligned action.
Through my custom one-on-one and group programs, clients realize their goals and achieve those life changes they desire. My hypnosis and coaching specialties are High Performance, Divine Finances, Digital Detox, and Spiritual Journeys (past lives and between lives).
Tell us about yourself
I’m a Soulprenuer or soulful entrepreneur if you prefer. After multiple creative careers, I became a certified hypnosis practitioner to share the methods and practices that have brought me so much success, prosperity, and spiritual growth throughout my life. Some of these experiences include becoming a Fulbright Scholar, winning many grants and awards for my creative work, attending the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, and more.
It all began 40 years ago when I was initiated into an intensive meditational path. I won’t bore you with all the details here, but over the following four decades, I added self-hypnosis training, NLP studies, embodied leadership workshops, coaching studies, and more, much more. Looking back over those 40 years, it is clear that I was being prepared to be of service in this way. I have been a creative leadership coach and trainer for the past ten years. In that work, I realized that much of what affects and motivates us is buried beneath our conscious minds. So, for the last five years, I have been studying and practicing multiple hypnosis methods to create individualized solutions for clients ready to step into radical self-love. The amazing results my clients experience from the work keeps me going.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
A former client recently reached out to me to ask if I would speak about hypnosis to a class they were teaching. After I agreed, I asked him what results from he was experiencing since the work we did together a couple of years ago. His answer was, “I am living my best life.” That is the kind of accomplishment I seek.
As a hypnotist, the greatest gratification comes from my clients no longer needing my services. I know that might sound weird, but we work a bit differently than some other helping fields in that we create clear outcomes in collaboration with the client. Once those outcomes are reached, the work is done. This often means that there has been a complete shift or completion of goals within 4-6 sessions or so.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I strive to be a kind and consummate professional, so I sometimes struggle with juggling “all the things” - social media, content creation, etc. To counter that problem, I limit what I take on and work very hard not to get distracted by “shiny objects.”
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do your research and create a checklist of steps.
- Put systems and automation in place to help the structure of your business.
- Hire a business coach related to your field to help you grow and succeed.
- Do your own shadow work around money! It will save you from so much stress and suffering.
