I am a corporate executive communication coach who is passionate about customizing programs for leaders and teams. Clients learn and apply tools for presentation, meeting, leadership, speaking, and client communication excellence.

I love the feeling of helping others, creative planning and coaching, and most of all, hearing about my client's success as outstanding leader communicators.

Here are key elements of my bio:

Senior Coaching Partner and Non-Native Program Leader. Laurie Schloff has devoted her entire professional career to enhancing professional communication comfort, expertise, and confidence. She is a trusted advisor to companies and organizations in finance, retail, life sciences, technology, and media. Her high-profile clients include The Allstate Corporation, Nielsen, Fidelity Investments, Harvard University, Staples, The TJX Companies, GroupM, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Bain Capital.

Laurie is a lifelong advocate for social justice and human rights. Her non-profit clients include the Healthcare Business Women's Association (HBA), Room to Grow, Anti-Defamation League (ADL), and Sandy Hook Promise.

Laurie is the author of two classic communication books, Smart Speaking and He and She Talks, which have been translated into German, French, and Chinese. Communication Briefings newsletter described Smart Speaking as "one of the best books ever written about speaking." Laurie's children's book, Twenty Twinkling Stars, was a fundraiser for the National Association of Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE) and is currently used in the Sandy Hook Promise curriculum.

A frequent guest expert on radio, podcasts, and television, Laurie was a guest on Oprah and Today Show and a contributor to magazines including Cosmopolitan, Woman's Day, Ladies Home Journal, and Women's Health. Laurie is a winner of the Partners Connected Health Competition and was awarded the American Resident Project Prize for her innovative work in the field of speech and technology.

Laurie achieved her graduate degree in speech from Columbia University in New York. Clients and colleagues value Laurie's humor, creativity, compassion, and highly interactive coaching style. What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Building an international brand for a compassionate, customized, and practical approach to communication excellence. I also recently launched a unique online program to help individuals overcome their fear of speaking.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Uncertainty even though you are joyously independent -and the darn invoicing!
