Tell us about yourself

I am a two-time entrepreneur; I was laid off from a previous role and decided that enough was enough. My motivation is the chance to do things on my own terms.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Growing my business to $15k MRR in two months.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Keeping a schedule and staying organized. When you are in FTE, you have a set list of things to do and the hours you need to do them. As a business owner, you need to own your day and plan accordingly.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Refine your ICP (Know who is your target customer).
  2. Get buy-in from your significant other (they are your biggest fans).
  3. Remind yourself that full-time employment is always going to be there, so give it a good go.
