Energy, Brand & Manifestation Maven - Pamela Sylvan
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Pamela Sylvan, founder of Pamela Sylvan - Mojomaker, located in Victoria. BC, Canada.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm Pamela Sylvan, the Mojomaker and I unshackle icons from mindsets and energies that prevent them from reaching their vision and also help build beautiful brands for influencers and businesses.
Tell us about yourself
Early in my career, I lost clarity on the way to the accomplishment of my dreams. A huge sense of inadequacy overwhelmed me, causing me to spiral into a place of anxiety and ineffectiveness. After some time of being sick and tired, I was determined to find a way forward. After decades of study, I formed my mindset, confidence, and personal branding agency for up-leveled women. I understand the esteem issues that plague those that secretly live with these energy drains. Working together in an empowered space of accountability, trust, and vision building, clients go on to experience clarity, chutzpah, gravitas, and of course, newfound joy. Their upward spiral motivates me in untold ways.
It's been years since I discovered my power and now help thousands through writing, TV broadcasting, keynote speaking, courses, workshops, and one-to-one mentoring.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Seeing women shift from confusion to clarity and then taking action is always a huge thrill. I'm also proud of my role as a TV Show host for my weekly show, The Mojo Hour Show, on the Win Win Women Network, with a global reach of hundreds of millions of women.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Staying focused and managing distractions on a daily and sometimes hourly basis can be a full-time job. I alleviate this by working with a system of accountability. At first, I chafed against the discipline involved, but now I love the freedom it's created.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The entrepreneurial path can be tricky. The following three tips will take you far:
- Find your vision and purpose and get passionate about them. On the days that things get tough, they will help as a reminder of your big WHY.
- Express gratitude daily, even for the difficulties that will come.
- Take time to relax and rejuvenate. Burning out is not a necessary ingredient of success.
