What's your business, and who are your customers?

A carefully curated collection of gorgeous, high-quality jewelry and accessories at an incredible price point. Helping women feel beautiful in their own skin. You don't have to spend a million dollars to feel like a million dollars.

Tell us about yourself

I am a mother, wife, full-time employee in corporate America, and small business owner. Hearing from women that the earrings they wore to their cousin's wedding made them feel beautiful or that they gifted their best friend a necklace and she loved it is what keeps me doing what I do. The fact that Palmina can provide the cherry on top of the already amazing sundae that is you is the best part!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Meeting clients and them telling me I am just as authentic in person as I seem online. They value and trust Palmina to be a part of their special occasions and everyday life.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

You can not please everyone and stay true to yourself. Just because it is in style or in season doesn't mean we like it, and we definitely won't sell it if it's not something we love!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do it! Stop thinking about it, stop prepping and just do it. You will fall 100x, and you will get back up every single time.
  2. Stay true to yourself and never ever sell a product you don't absolutely love!
  3. Never stop learning. Sign up for lectures, talks, and classes. Take notes and refer back to them.
  4. Be kind!
