Tell us about yourself
As an immigrant, I'm bound to my traditions and gastronomy. I wanted my children to taste some, if not all, of our flavors and to get to know Venezuela through its different dishes. As I started the business, I realized that I wasn't alone, that not only immigrants but 2nd generation of Hispanics and, moreover, Americans had the desire to try different things, play with their food, and expand their gastronomic and cultural knowledge through different flavors.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Deliver love.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Lack of control of some variables (shipping).
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
