What's your business, and who are your customers?

Pair O Dimes Festival Fashion Boutique is a place for people within the festival world and out to come and find their greatest Expression! From young adults to full-blown Burners, we aim to provide the finest in slow fashion designs from artists all over the Country!

Tell us about yourself

I have been a part of the festival scene for a decade, starting off in simple event production and quickly advancing all the way to Vendor Coordination for festivals such as Arise Music Festival; there has always been a drive to get the vibes and expressions from the festival to the masses. Now that I have been running this shop for four years, it is the continual happy faces of those unable to even know about these artists walking out with whole new energy about themselves!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

During the Quarantine of 2020, I was so grateful and filled with joy as the community that I had been building came in groves to support and keep my doors open even when there were no events to stunt the clothes they were buying! I did not need to take any loans from the government due to the incredible support I was shown!!!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hours. I work my butt to the bone just to get back up and do it again with usually only 3-5 hours of sleep. Getting used to it over the years but certainly the hardest and most unwavering part of the job.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Start small. This is my fifth business venture, and I began with a friend in my kitchen with a catering company. Let each failure give you hope to finding the success that will last, and never give up on the path that has been laid out just for you! It is not for the faint of heart, but if it were easy, then everybody would be doing it!

Grateful for this opportunity to let more and more people know about the work I am doing, and I hope to find smiling faces and great connections blossom from this Interview!!
