What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are an infusion clinic. We provide infusion therapy for mental health, chronic pain, and nutrition. This includes depression, anxiety, PTSD, complex regional pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, and neuropathic pain states. Our hydration/micronutrient infusions include vitamins, antioxidants, and NAD.

Tell us about yourself

I have been a nurse anesthesiologist for approximately 20 years. I have used ketamine in the operating room extensively and learned of its benefits while working in anesthesia. This influenced my decision to co-own an infusion clinic where we could utilize ketamine among our other products to promote health and wellness. It's especially motivating to realize that you are helping people on a daily basis and optimizing their overall health.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

We started during the pandemic, which was discouraging. However, we have still been able to experience growth quarterly and now have a sustainable business. The hardest part was learning how to navigate the business world and generate exposure online and in the community.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The hardest thing that comes with being a business is separating your personal life from the business. The drive to be successful can take over your personal life, and the job really never ends. That being said, it's still much more rewarding than being an employee.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Research what it takes to run the business you're interested in.
Seek support from like-minded professionals.
Get as much education and support as possible in regard to online presence (SEO), online advertising, and community exposure.
