What's your business, and who are your customers?
ORANGE BALL supports organisations to cultivate mental fitness for well-being and performance. We support a range of sectors, including business, sport, education, and community organisations. We partner with organisations that value cultivating positive mental health within their culture, which promotes greater levels of well-being and higher levels of personal and team performance.
Tell us about yourself
The term mental health frightens people. There is a perception that mental health relates to what's wrong with us. I'm passionate about helping people change the narrative and focus on what could be right. By becoming mentally fitter, people can work towards positive mental health and flourishing, allowing them to positively manage the stress they experience. As evidenced-based practitioners, we apply two powerful tools to support people. Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I'm proud of the impact we have on the organisations we support. We have received recognition for our coaching programmes in sports and in the science sector for supporting teams and individuals to successfully apply strategies to improve well-being and performance.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Building relationships takes time and patience, and finding the right people to support you through the journey is really important. Finding your tribe takes up a lot of energy, but once you do, it makes your day-to-day work much easier.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
