What's your business, and who are your customers?
We help business owners achieve financial freedom. Working through our standardized process helps business owners visualize life after transitioning from the day-to-day operating of their business to living their best life on their terms moving forward.
Tell us about yourself
We have served business owner clients in our financial advisory firm, SC Financial Services, since its inception in 2002. We quickly realized many of our clients needed specialized planning to help them accomplish their retirement and business succession goals and that many aspects of the personal and business planning needs were deeply integrated. Consulting on the personal financial needs of the business owner required a deep understanding of the owner's business as well. That's where Optimized Business Transitions was born.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
As an owner, you are always responsible for the bottom line success of the business...24/7, the business depends on you.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have a plan, set SMART Goals, and monitor your progress.
- Assemble a leadership team that compliments your strengths as the owner/leader, aka hire to your weakness(s).
- Be flexible; opportunities oftentimes arise in unexpected ways...
