Pain-free, Healthy Lifestyle - Optimal Wellness & Chiropractic
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with James Stubbs, owner of Optimal Wellness & Chiropractic, located in Austin, TX, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a wellness chiropractic office that strives to correct pain and find why the patient has pain, and get rid of that to help them live a super-powered life.
Tell us about yourself
The reason I do what I do is as a child, I had terrible headaches where I would blackout and throw up. Years went by, and nothing helped; I was then sent to a chiropractor after a car accident, and within six months of treatment, no more headaches. So I want patients to live better without pain.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The ones that make me most proud are hearing from parents of infants who have been struggling with ear infections and that the care I have provided prevented their child from having ear tubes put in.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
When you start out, you want to do everything, but you need to let others help and take advice from those who have done it before.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Ask for help, be honest with your clients, don't sell them something they don't need even if it helps your pocket, and always believe in your solution when it will truly help.
