What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am promoting an online education platform that teaches individuals how to build their own online businesses from scratch. My target audience consists of individuals who are exhausted from their monotonous 9-5 routines and wish to achieve financial and time freedom by acquiring digital marketing skills and building sustainable businesses online. Our platform emphasizes business models such as affiliate marketing, e-commerce, and coaching.
Tell us about yourself
I'm 42 years old, a father to 2 small kids, and a former healthcare practitioner. For many years I worked in the health industry and almost came up to burnt out because of the constantly increasing demands and unrewarding income. I came to the realization that to break free from the trap of trading time for money; I needed to dissociate my earnings from my time. I needed to discover a way where my business could operate for me, nearly on autopilot, 24/7. Launching an online business seemed like the obvious choice, and after witnessing its immense potential and the liberty it offers once established, it became my mission to disseminate this valuable knowledge to those who are willing to create a better life for themselves and their loved ones.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Changing the lives of hundreds of my clients and helping them to make a transition to a laptop lifestyle.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Responsibility towards clients, the ever-evolving technological landscape, and the need to constantly adapt.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have a clear understanding of WHY you are doing it and WHERE you are going.
- Make an action plan and be consistent with your effort.
- Get a mentor.
