What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help Course Creators, Digital Product Creators, and Coaches double revenue from their email list in 90 days without using email as a blunt tool to broadcast to everyone so that they, as business owners, can build a business designed around the life they want to live. I help coaches, course creators, and agencies get more customers and repeat customers and create raving fans of their brand. I do this by helping them build a strategy and implement behavioral marketing through automation, email marketing, and on-site personalization.

Tell us about yourself

I knew at a fairly young age that I wasn't meant to sit at someone else's desk. When the internet in the late 90s and early 00s took off, I knew that was a way that I could get the time, freedom, and flexibility to work for myself and ultimately have a path to living a life of my own design. Since 2010, I've helped my clients create 6- and 7-figures in revenue. I'm a work-from-home Dad of two young boys and have THE most amazing and beautiful wife. That's what motivates me to do what I do every day. As a proud New Yorker, I've built my business from $0, and my motto is... "Effort and Attitude Matter." They are the two things you have control over, and the rest will fall into place.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment personally was the realization of my dream. The dream to be at home, see the first steps and hear the first words of my boys.

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is to adapt to market changes and help my clients navigate through converting email subscribers into customers. Knowing that my clients will often refer me to friends and colleagues with glowing words drives me to push harder.

My goal is to help Creators (clients or not) build an email list and set up flows to convert those subscribers into customers so that they can build a sustainable business without having to worry about the social media landscape or run ads.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Never shutting off is a hard thing for me. I'm always thinking, reading, and trying to learn new aspects and around marketing online.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start building an email list and collect those addresses right now.
  2. Ask lots of questions on your list and read the replies.
  3. Segment the list so you can quickly put your ideal customers to your most popular product into a sales sequence.
