What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a Reiki Master and an energy healer. I also do spiritual integration coaching, which is great for people who have had experiences with psychedelics and want to integrate their experiences in a safe, non-judgmental space. It is also for those people who have had an incredible shift in their lives and are starting to ask questions that are more in line with their spirit and the purpose for them to be in this life. I integrate both guidance and practicality on how to look at things from a different spiritual perspective. I always encourage people to continue to go to their licensed professionals who are helping them from a scientific physical perspective.

Tell us about yourself

I am an entrepreneur at heart, and I continue to work on other projects I feel very proud and connected with. What got me to start this business was an awakening of sorts and a deep feeling to help people. Since I was a little boy, I've had the ability to tap into this unseen energy, and it wasn't until the past few years that I have been using it to help people. I needed to go through my own journey and set of experiences in order to fine-tune my abilities and open up more to universal consciousness in order to allow me to be more connected with the work I perform currently. I have a deep appreciation for life itself and the need to help guide others, and that's what makes me get up each morning and do what I do.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

To listen to my heart and follow my dreams. To finally be aligned with my soul's purpose in this lifetime. The reward has been full of happiness and peace in my everyday life.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things as a business owner is always the paperwork and bureaucracy of state and city laws. For example, in New York, it takes a lot of faith and determination to be a small business owner because the system is not built to support small business entrepreneurs.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Follow your dreams. When you are completely happy with what you're doing, it will show in the products and services you offer.
  2. Go with the flow. Challenges will always arise. It is in how you react to them that you will fail or succeed. If you follow tip #1, the challenges will be more logistical than anything else.
  3. Trust and believe in yourself. We have been programmed to be fearful of everything. Fear is only but an illusion, and if you're in alignment with your purpose, you should do well. Money will be an outcome of your efforts.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Enjoy the process and never stop learning. Do not try to find that comfort zone. You can find peace within yourself but do not become complacent. That's what makes life worth enjoying and makes you feel alive. Be open to all possibilities.
