What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a digital wellness platform that empowers individuals to discover and live their best lives through accessible, personalized well-being tools and experiences. Our product removes many of the barriers to getting the individualized help that people need.
Tell us about yourself
I am a licensed massage therapist who wants to bring massage to the workplace. I have always had a passion for self-care and providing ways to alleviate pain. We have since pivoted to include mental health, as well as other areas of well-being which helps to address the holistic health of individuals.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment came with the challenges we all faced with the pandemic. The market changed, and we had to adjust to being able to continue to provide a valuable product quickly.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Making sure that I am fulfilling all of my roles, including that of a mother and wife, is a tricky balancing act as I work to ensure that the company grows and is successful.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Find your passion. Find the root of your passion, and then find a way to bring it to the world.
- Be willing to work harder than everyone else. Push through the negative thoughts and get it done.
- Find mentors. Surround yourself with experts that can support you and help you learn and grow as an individual and a business owner.
