What's your business, and who are your customers?

At VanLonChan, we offer Management & Capital Raising services to Canadian and international entrepreneurs and their growing management teams with 1-O-1 and project-based consulting services catering to launching a business, regional, national, and global expansion, strategic planning, market research, go-to-market strategies, budgeting, and funding. We are a team of experienced business management consultants, lawyers, and accountants from Vancouver, London (UK), and Chandigarh (India). Our team members have offered services to startups, small-medium organizations, and investors to management teams of large-cap companies such as Compass Group, TELUS (Canada), Walmart, Tesco, Wipro, and Kraft Foods. We follow a result-oriented approach to work with our clients as team members and not just as consultants. We understand our client's needs and goals in-depth and formulate a practical strategy to achieve the set goals in a defined timescale. Whether it is a startup business seeking to consult on business planning and funding or an investor seeking a business opportunity in the UK or Canada, our first step is to understand our client's business during an initial consultation session: in in-person in Vancouver, London, or by telephone or Zoom.

Tell us about yourself

While studying engineering, I came across business magazines and read about management consulting firms, which got me interested and moved to study business in Canada and got the opportunity to meet entrepreneurs and learn about business challenges. When I moved to work in the UK, an accountant friend and I started a management consulting company writing business plans for financing through LDA. Thereafter, I started my own management consulting company in India and then in Canada to serve entrepreneurs, SMEs, and corporations through our Management and Capital Raise consulting services. As a founder of the company, I enjoy working with my team to solve the challenges of our clients and sharing our knowledge to resolve their business problems.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

VanLonChan is the 2021 Go Global Awards Frontrunner Winner (Professional Services), a prestigious international award, and a Finalist for 2022 and 2019. We are nominated as a leading consulting company in Vancouver and BC region of Canada by media companies.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Nothing is hard if the mindset is right and the team is great. Life and Business both face challenges each day, and it is very important for entrepreneurs to have a vision and patience and follow persistent efforts with a strategic plan to attain goals.
