Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal and business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Nida Leardprasopsuk, CEO of Nida Leard Consulting & Coaching, located in Bangkok, Thailand.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
I run a coaching and consulting business that helps genius-based entrepreneurs who are exceptional at what they do. We help them innovate and differentiate their business by elevating their offers, branding, mindset, and self-image. We work with world-class leading coaches, consultants, agencies, practitioners, and experts in various fields.
Tell us about yourself
I worked for many years in Fortune 500 companies like L’Oreal and Unilever. But I knew corporate life was not for me, so when I was 26, I left the corporate world and started my own business. I fell in love with psychology and found coaching. I knew from the beginning this was what I was born to be doing. My life mission is to help leaders and entrepreneurs transform themselves by having clarity about what they want, increasing self-awareness, being intentional about their decision-making and everyday actions, and reprogramming their thinking and self-belief system. My goal is for my clients to be more fulfilled and more successful in their lives and business. And most importantly, to unleash their full potential, fulfill their life purpose as change makers and create the highest impact through their expertise.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Helping my clients reinvent their self-image. As a result, not only have they grown their business, but they have transformed their lives. They have become better friends, partners, parents, and better human beings.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I think, for most people, it’s about risk-taking. Going all-in and not giving up on your business when no future results are guaranteed. I think this is also the factor that will differentiate between an entrepreneur that is successful and not.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Learn the right business principles and strategies from qualified mentors that have done it successfully themselves.
- Get a personal coach or mentor who will challenge you, call you out, and support you through the ups and downs in life and in business.
- Work on getting comfortable with things that are uncomfortable. Elevate your mindset and self-image so that it is aligned with your goals and next level of success.
