Tell us about yourself
My name is Amanda Marino; I am a Certified Intervention Professional (CIP), Certified Recovery and Life Coach, and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Alternative Medicine. I am one of the co-founders of Next Level Recovery Associates alongside my partner, Blake Cohen. Utilizing our expertise, experience, and passion, Me and my team strive to fill gaps that are currently present in the pre and post-treatment process.
I have over a decade of professional substance use disorder and mental health treatment. In 2015, my passion for helping women in recovery led me to create Women Empowering Women in Recovery: a non-profit organization that helped raise scholarship money to send women in recovery for higher education. In 2018, I became the co-host of the Overcoming Adversity Podcast with my business partner, Blake Cohen, in which they interview people from all over the world who have overcome life’s major twists and turns and came out on the other side of it. My work and reputation have led me to be featured in a plethora of media features, public speaking engagements, webinars, and other forms of public engagement in which I consistently advocate for those affected by substance use disorders.
My personal experience and work have molded me into the woman I am today. Aside from my tireless work with my organization, Next Level Recovery Associates Inc, I am also an attentive and proud mother of three children and a devoted wife. I credit much of my life’s perspective to my long-term recovery from SUD, trauma, abuse, and body dysmorphia. I am now living a purposeful life and have found my mission here on earth. I hope to help support my clients in their journey of finding their own healthy perspective in life, strengthen relationships with the ones they love, and identify the passions that light fires within them so they can create a life so good that they won’t want to numb themselves anymore.
I see the road to recovery as a journey of self-discovery and self-realization. I am compassionate, empathic, and supportive in engaging clients and assisting them. My story not only resonates with my clients but also motivates them to make a change.
