What's your business, and who are your customers?
New England Kite School is dedicated to making safe and proficient kiteboarders and sharing our passion for the sport with New England water lovers.
Tell us about yourself
My first lesson was with a random kid on the beach who asked me what it was all about and how to get started. We spent a few hours in the water, which forever changed my life. Now 13 years later, I am so glad to be able to share my knowledge and experience with aspiring kiters for my full-time career.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I worked with a gentleman who had a crippling fear of the water. It took a long time, but we eventually saw him kiteboarding and enjoying the beach in a whole new way.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Waiting for the wind to blow!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Find something you love first. Please don't do it for the money, or you will burn out.
