Premium Mobile Massage Therapy Service - Neurotouch Therapy
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Jorge Tasse, owner of Neurotouch, located in Dartmouth, NS, Canada.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
I run a mobile massage practice in the province of nova scotia, Canada. Since I am a local business owner, I try to get involved with the community as much as possible. Most of my clients are from mid-age, and many of them spend 6 to 8 hours sitting in front of a computer, but most clients' movement impairments are caused by accidents or bad injuries. They have to stay at home and do not always have access to healthcare practitioner's services.
Tell us about yourself
I started this business four years ago, right after I graduated from Northumberland College, School of massage therapy in Halifax, NS.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I think one of the biggest accomplishments I have done is to create something unique; I designed my cargo vans to be 100% like a mobile clinic with all the equipment and massage supplies.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
In my opinion, and as a business owner running a successful practice for over four years, one of the hardest things is to do is keep the balance between being RMT, an Entrepreneur, and a Manager; they are completely three different personalities, but you will need to have them all to run a successful massage therapy practice no matter if you are mobile or a clinic.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be Focused: Know what you want and what direction you are heading with your business, do not let anything distract you because, on your journey, you will find a lot of things that will get you off track. Remember, small decisions today can have a big impact on your massage therapy practice tomorrow.
- Discipline: Stay disciplined, and create routines that save you money and time; spend time trying to find ways to improve your business structure to make it solid.
- Dedication: Invest in your education, and take courses and training for continuing education; not only will it provide your business with more reputation and credibility, but also you will be able to offer higher quality service.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I want to say thank you for the opportunity to let me share my story. I am sure you will find spelling mistakes in my writing and also better ways for the readers to understand my story, vision, and goals. Please, you are welcome to add more content based on my feedback.
