Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Natalia Naila, a Health and Life Coach based in Los Angeles, CA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My coaching practice revolves around health, life, and wellness, with an emphasis on fasting and biohacking. I guide individuals on a transformative journey, focusing on a holistic approach that encompasses physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. My clients come from all walks of life, ranging from young adults to middle-aged professionals striving for a balance between their personal and professional spheres to seniors aiming to maintain health. What they all share is a desire for personal growth, wellness and a desire to unlock their highest potential.

Tell us about yourself

Before diving into the world of health and life coaching, I enjoyed a successful career as a Hollywood stylist and fashion designer. The transition was not without its challenges, but it was inspired by my personal experiences and unforeseen difficulties. Realizing that my journey was indeed my destination, I chose to follow a path I felt truly passionate about. Every day, I am driven by the incredible resilience and determination of my clients. The profound joy and honor of being a part of their personal evolution, witnessing their transformation, and empowering them to lead a life of purpose and passion motivate me immensely.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment isn't necessarily quantifiable by numbers. It's the countless transformative stories that I've encountered from past clients. When I witness someone completely turn their life around, shed their past burdens, rediscover themselves, and carve out a future of wellness and happiness, I consider that my crowning achievement. Each individual who finds their rhythm, their truth, and learns to thrive reminds me of the impact and significance of what I do.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things about being a health and life coach is the emotional investment. I genuinely care for each individual I work with, and their struggles often resonate deeply with me. It requires immense strength to act as a guiding light, even on days when their journey is clouded with challenges. While it's deeply fulfilling, it also demands a continuous commitment to resilience, compassion, and patience.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Be Passionate: Make sure your business aligns with something you are genuinely passionate about. It's this passion that will fuel you during challenging times and keep you grounded during success.
  2. Listen and Adapt: Always be attuned to the needs and feedback of your customers or clients. They are your compass, guiding you on how to improve, adapt, and serve better.
  3. Be Continuously Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in your field. Invest in your personal and professional development because as you grow, so will your business. Remember, it's not just about reaching a destination but about embracing every step, every challenge, and every moment of self-discovery along the way.
