Established in 1993, Nanda Jewellers is located in Vancouver's Historic Punjabi Market and specializes in 22kt gold jewellery and diamond dealing, engagement rings/wedding bands. The Nanda family has over five generations of expertise in the jewellery business. Nanda Jewellers offer honest and reliable service, strive to provide excellent customer service, and aim to build and maintain longstanding relationships with their clients.

Tell us about yourself

My Name is Anil Nanda; I am the vice president of Nanda Jewellers, and what I enjoy best is designing unique and timeless pieces of jewellery, sourcing the perfect diamond for my clients, and assisting in creating wedding engagement rings and any other sort of custom jewellery for clients in Vancouver.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being one of Vancouver's trusted south Asian jewellery stores, providing clients with rare and timeless 22K jewellery, we have now also evolved and become an industry leader for custom diamond jewellery, engagement rings, and wedding bands in Vancouver's lower mainland.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

With any small business, our biggest challenge is market reach. We offer a heavy customer service-based experience for our clients, who are always extremely satisfied with our level of service and quality of product but reaching new markets is always something we are aiming to achieve.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Customer service - going above and will set you apart from the crowd.
  2. Honesty - providing honest and sincere service will establish trust and longstanding repeat clients.
  3. Fair prices - money talks .. everyone works hard for their money, so offering competitive prices will ultimately be the best way to grow a business.
