What's your business, and who are your customers?
We provide online and in-person personal training services and small groups as well. Our clients are professionals that don't want their time wasted.
Tell us about yourself
I am a former police officer, competitive bodybuilder, and motivational speaker. I have always loved customer service as it offers the best rewards for both sides. Someone asked for my help 30 years ago, and I just kept helping others until it became a viable business. As someone that fights cancer every day - I know what challenges look like and how to be successful in your quest.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The biggest accomplishment I have enjoyed is obvious - seeing people happy and loving themselves. I was able to employ 6 amazing personal trainers and offer 24 weekly classes at 2 locations.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the biggest challenges is when you have an unhappy customer, and there does not seem to be a solution that will make the client happy no matter what you do.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
If someone were to start any kind of business, make sure you
- LOVE what you do and love what it does to people's lives.
- Know your craft inside and out.
- Show and never make excuses. If you mess up, own it.
