Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Nichole Kuechle, Founder of My Healthy Beginning, located in Long Lake, MN, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My Healthy Beginning is a holistic health practice supporting both clients and practitioners in removing chronic health patterns and returning them to optimal vitality.

The approach to health and wellness incorporates muscle testing as a technique used to assess the body's energy flow and identify imbalances or blockages that may be contributing to health issues. The practice offers mentoring and teaching programs designed to provide practitioners with the knowledge and skills necessary to become proficient in this technology.

Tell us about yourself

I have over 20 years of experience in the foundational medicine field. Throughout my career, I've been an educator, mentor, and practitioner. I've dedicated myself to empowering both providers and clients to tap into their inner knowledge and effectively address health concerns. My teaching style is engaging, and I have a knack for breaking down complex concepts into easily understandable terms. Regardless of the learning environment, my goal is to ensure that my students leave with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive.

In my role as a practitioner, I've been fortunate to help numerous clients attain optimal health by using muscle testing to inform treatment decisions. I pride myself on taking a compassionate and holistic approach to care, which has led to my being recognized as a trusted and respected practitioner. I'm unwavering in my commitment to pushing the boundaries of the field. I constantly explore new modalities and seek additional training to support both my clients and students better.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Watching practitioners hone their skills and become confident in their ability to test using our muscle testing training.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Honestly, it's the coming and going of those we work with. Clients come to us in high need of care. We provide that care, and whether it be a year or 2-3, they eventually reach the level of health that allows them to maintain on their own.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Just start.
  2. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks.
  3. Think bigger than your idea.
