Muse Eek Publishing Inc. sells Music Education Books, CDs, and DVDs. Our customers are professional musicians or musicians seeking to have professional musicianship skills.

Tell us about yourself

Muse Eek Publishing Inc. started in 1995. I created this business because there weren't a lot of educational materials available online for professional musicians worldwide.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

The biggest accomplishment at Muse Eek Publishing Inc. was creating over 300 books that cover all aspects of music education.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

When you are doing this by yourself, the learning curve is quite steep when dealing with IT, copyrights, trademarks, etc.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Realize that you must feed the beast. In other words, create new products often.
  2. Give great customer service. The customer is always right.
  3. Interact with your customers so that they become loyal customers.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

  1. Don't pester your customers with emails.
  2. Make sure your website is running on a fast and hopefully mirrored platform.
  3. Make sure your company name reflects the product you sell so that you get good search engine ratings.
