What's your business, and who are your customers?

Our clients are business owners and entrepreneurs. MPowered Business Inc. focuses on empowering people to clearly define, joyfully pursue, and ultimately achieve an audacious vision for their organization.

Tell us about yourself

With quick success, I found myself being asked to help other organizations in various roles, from providing leadership training for a state banking association to strategic planning for chambers of commerce to financial management for entrepreneurs. Because of referrals, my business as an "accidental business coach" quickly grew to the point that I sold my first business and launched my training company focused on helping organizations and entrepreneurs succeed. Since 2011, MPowered Business has provided business coaching, project management, HR consulting, bookkeeping, team development, management training, mediation, and back-office support to hundreds of entrepreneurs, businesses, and non-profits.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

One of my biggest accomplishments is helping my clients achieve greatness and reclaim the joy and purpose of owning their own businesses.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Self-discipline is the challenge entrepreneurs tend to struggle with the most. Having a strong partnership with a business coach and a support team makes all the difference.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Make sure it's what you love to do, and stay committed. Create goals that are important now and long-term goals. Revisit them quarterly and yearly.
