What's your business, and who are your customers?

At its current stage, my business is rooted in Wellness and Coaching. I primarily serve women who desire to transform any area of life (or all areas) through the power of personal embodiment and mindset alignment.

Tell us about yourself

I am a multi-passionate human and entrepreneur! I love to travel, enjoy delicious food, dance, work out, learn about the mind, connect deeper with my spirituality, and spend time with my loved ones. The journey that led me to this moment today has been far from linear, and it has all shaped who I am today, as well as what I offer inside of my business. I dove into the healing arts in 2015, and the year after that, I became certified as a Mind-Body Eating Connection Coach. Shortly after that, I dove into my 200 HR & 300 HR teachers trainings and began teaching aspiring teachers in incredible locations around the world like Greece, India, Bali, and Guatemala. While working a full-time job that then turned part-time (yes, it's okay to start a business while you work a job), I decided to go all in on my business which is now rooted in the embodiment, mindset alignment, and transformational coaching and experiences for women primarily. The motivation that drives me every day is my vision of a world filled with humans who are empowered individuals living in joy and freedom. I believe that once we each individually heal our wounds, clear our baggage, align with our highest order, and prime our minds to create and live out lives that are an expression of who we really are, we will see a transformed world.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I would have to say that my biggest accomplishment is the success of my clients. Every little (and big) client win is a success for me and my business. I know I'm on track and accomplishing what I set out to do with the work I share when my clients are experiencing transformation in their own lives. After all, my business is about supporting people, so when they win, my business wins, and I win.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Trusting myself! This is something I've been working on for quite some time, and while I see an improvement in myself, I find it challenging on some days to trust that my path, my ideas, and my own inner guidance WILL lead me to the destination of my desired impact and fulfillment. There are so many examples of how to run a business out there, which is amazing because it gives us permission to create our own path; however, when I get caught in comparison, I lose perspective. That's still my work - staying true to my unique self as I grow my business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Get clear on how you want your business to feel and how you want it to fit into your life; otherwise, your business can easily end up being your life.
  2. Start before you're ready - most people don't feel confident or ready to start or to make the leap into their next evolution, so it's important to remember that confidence is built by jumping into the unknown and realizing just how capable we are. Don't wait for the website to be done; just start NOW. Now is the only moment we have; you'll figure out everything else along the way, step by step.
  3. Give yourself grace, always. Be quick to forgive yourself, be kind to yourself, trust the process, and remember that there is no such thing as failure. Everything is learning and steps leading to your success.
