What's your business, and who are your customers?
Morning Miracle, created by momilabs, is an all-natural, on-the-go drink mix that provides all-day relief for chronic nasal congestion and seasonal allergy symptoms. Our customers are people of all ages who suffer from these conditions--from kids to adults, pregnant women, and anyone wanting all-natural relief.
Tell us about yourself
A lifetime of hay fever turned me to any and every over-the-counter and prescription allergy medication I could find. But the chronic congestion (including clearing my throat before and during nearly every conversation), headaches, moodiness, and dryness from those meds drove me crazy! I use Morning Miracle daily now and haven't had persistent allergy symptoms for years!
For years, whenever we bought antihistamines, congestion reducers, and other allergy meds (pills, nasal sprays, and even injections), we asked ourselves why it always felt like we were playing catch up with symptoms and never really getting ahead. Even the best advice from doctors seemed to provide temporary solutions at best.
We asked, why? Why wasn't there a better way—to get ahead and stay ahead of the near-constant runny nose and sneezing fits or the itchy eyes, ears, nose, and throat? And without the headaches, moodiness, and dryness? Why did allergy season seem to last forever?
This led to an all-out search for a solution. Many products were tried. Books and scientific articles were read. We nearly wore out the internet looking. Eventually, new ideas emerged and then converged, leading us to an answer. We discovered that the right natural ingredients used the right way (right dose, right time) would cause the digestive system to engage in a way that headed off symptoms—and stayed ahead.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Honestly, reaching 500 followers on Instagram. :) Better still, the testimonials from our customers are the highest compliment.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Patience—allowing things to grow organically, pouring a little advertising "gas" on that fire but not too much, and letting the results build.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don't use a three-letter acronym for your brand. Your story needs to come alive in your product name.
- Be patient at the beginning. If you can't afford to work for free for a while, don't start. Don't starve the business by withdrawing cash too soon.
- Always serve your customers, don't be constantly selling to them. Speak to them. Know how they live. That's the greatest form of business giving possible.
